The church, with its sturdy Romanesque towers, is one of the Lisbon\’s most iconic landmarks. Rossio Square : Rossio square forms the bustling heart of downtown Lisbon. Many parts of the city converge here and the square is a popular meeting place. If you stay in Lisbon even for a short time, chances are you\’ll pass here more than once. Shopping in Lisbon Although Lisbon is not perceived as a true shopping destination in the league of New York, Paris or London, there is still plenty for the visitor to enjoy. Unlike many other cities, Lisbon does not have a main shopping street but what you will find are plenty of little boutiques and quirky shops nestling amongst the larger stores.
